Designed for the caregiver who already has basic knowledge and experience, Home Care Assistant (HCA) provides professional caregivers the information and skills they need to provide “hands-on” care for individuals who need moderate to maximum assistance. In addition to the skills taught in IHA, graduates can perform uncomplicated procedures under the direction of a medical professional while in the home or other settings.

The Schmieding Home Caregiver Training is training curriculum, videos, and content for professional compensated caregivers as well as family caregivers, focused on providing care in the home.
